Evidence: Established the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to manage traffic, and the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) to oversee public transport planning. Evidence: Initiated the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) scheme, the first of its kind in Nigeria, in partnership with the World Bank to reduce traffic congestion. Evidence: Undertook massive road rehabilitation projects, including the development of the Lekki-Epe expressway and various bypasses to link rural and urban areas.
